CONTREXEVILLE

The spa town of Contrexéville, which owes its international reputation to its mineral water sold under the Contrex brand, has been frequented by curists for over two centuries. The neo-Byzantine thermal center and its 4 hectare park, the villas and hotels, the casino, give the town a very Belle Époque charm. Nature and sports lovers will also enjoy this resort offering many possibilities for walks and sports activities (walks in the forest, pedal boats at the lake of La Folie, etc.)

VITTEL

For several years now, the city of Vittel has been awarded the gold medal of the cities and villages in bloom at the departmental competition and the four flowers awarded by the national jury, which, during its visit to our town, discovered a city in bloom with very high quality floral arrangements. Each year, about 40,000 plants embellish the territory.

The diversity of the themes encourages the inhabitants of the city and the tourists to walk, dream, relax… and then to come back.

With its park opening onto a 650-hectare estate, Vittel is a veritable green island.

For more than 20 years, the environment and quality of life have been a permanent concern of the City of Vittel and its main actors.

DOMREMY LA PUCELLE BIRTH HOUSE OF JEANNE D’ ARC

It was in a modest farmer’s house that Joan of Arc was born, around 1412, during the Hundred Years War. Since the 15th century, this site has been preserved and enriched with sculptures and inscriptions, in homage to this emblematic character of French History. While the façade traces the six centuries of this house, its four small and sober interior rooms invite the visitor to meditate, in the footsteps of a young girl who became a world famous heroine.
